Einleitung: Our client has a requirement for experienced Stress Engineers to join their busy team based in Hamburg or Manching (Bayern), Germany
Beschreibung: Tasks:
- Pre-dimensioning, check stress, and final justification of lightweight structures (metallic and CFC) in military and civil programs
- Post processing of FEM, determination and analysis of internal loads- and stress- spectra-results-justification
- Analysis of FE results or manual stress calculations acc. to special fatigue and damage tolerance justification methods and tools
- Perform fatigue analysis of basic aircraft systems (fuel, hydraulic, pneumatic, electric, etc.) installations
- Preparation of justification documents and reports for aircraft certification
- Dimensioning and justification of repair concepts for SRM
- Building of line support engineering (preparatory support)
- Project coordination or to be the trans-national interface between various engineering teams
- Trouble shooting & supplier management
Requirements:
- Degree in Aeronautical/Mechanical Engineering or similar
- Mandatory skills needed:
- Check and control of structural requirements acc. to component specification and JAR/FAR Rules - FEM techniques, post processing. - Justification methods acc. to HSB, ESDU, Petersson, MMPDS, Rooke & Cartwright, etc. - Advanced knowledge of design principles of typical aeronautics structures under Fatigue & Damage Tolerance Aspects - Advanced knowledge of fatigue behaviour and damage-tolerant philosophy - Good knowledge in using Nastran, Patran & MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) - Excellent English language skill
- Specific skills needed:
- CFC/CFRP (Composite) - Aerospace materials application - Aircraft (Airbus) certification procedures and requirements for stress and FDT (French methods for Fatigue-Life-Analysis) - Good knowledge in using AVGROW, NASGRO, ASSACOS, SAFE, DAMTOL, ISSY/Dynfest - Maxdam, RFORT, RNFLW, RISFOR (IF POSSIBLE)
- Optional skill (bonus):
- Experience in hand calculation/ stress report, concessions, DQNs, BA, BB, BU, weight optimisation - Experience in Shell, Load lop, Skin/stringer, Frame, Beam, Lap Joint, Bracket, Actuator Attachment, Butt Joint, Catcher, Hinge, Cut-Out, Door, Sidewall, Uplatch, Hook, Rail Attachment, Coupling ) - Knowledge in SAMCEF, Abaqus, Visual Basic, Fortran, Perl, catia V4/V5, CCD - Excellent German & other European language skills
Monthly Salary:
We will pay a monthly salary of 4500 Euro. This will cover the core hours of 40 / week. If you work overtime you will receive extra payments Employment Status:
You will be hired as a full time employee of Matchtech GmbH and we will lease your services to our client. This means that your gross salary will be subject to German social contributions and tax deductions.
