Einleitung:
Our client is looking for a Business Development Director to join their Energy management team and create opportunities to develop and then grow their German offshore Wind Energy market share.

Specification:
We are very keen to speak to candidates who have worked as senior business development managers, offshore operations or project managers for OEM Energy clients and are now looking to further develop their career or move into business development utilising their strong personal and professional networks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategies to introduce and then consolidate our clients position as a market leader in offshore cable installation (export and array cables) to new and established customers in the offshore Wind Energy sector, particularly developers and utilities.
- Understand customer project development cycles & subsequently achieve strategic partnerships for submarine cable installation and maintenance programs.
- Build effective customer relationships & communication systems.
Required Skills / Experience:
- Extensive experience of business development and / or operational management in the Renewable Energy industry
- Previous experience as an operations or project manager working for OEM clients in the Renewable Energy industry
Preferred Skills / Experience:
- Ideal candidates will have a background in Offshore Wind Energy
- Preferably experience in developing and selling offshore Wind Energy project opportunities in mainland Europe, Scandinavia, and / or the UK
Functional & Technical Competencies:
- Ability to collect & effectively use information on industry, customers, competitors, new projects and trends.
- Ability to develop relationship / rapport at different levels.
- Ability to deal with and handle sensitive information with care, confidence, and judgment
Education:
- MBA and / or Engineering Degree (or equivalent)
Languages:
Fluency in both English & German is essential
Salary:
From €85,000/Year
This is a home-office position based in Germany with travel to and from the UK. |
