Einleitung:
Our client requires a Static Test Engineer to join their multinational team based in France.
Beschreibung:
Responsibilities:
Working in the structural analysis department, your main responsibility is to support the implementation of static tests on the Aircraft.
Main tasks:
- Define & build the finite element model and the entire apparatus for the static test
- Load the template after the test
- Position gauge measurements
- Correlate the test results and analysis
- Write certifying reports
Required Skills:
- Experienced in FEM and the static analysis of fuselage, wing, tail section and other components of the Aircraft structure, in order to verify the strength, stability and integrity of the structure.
- An in-depth understanding in the use of finite element boundary conditions and loading of global finite element models.
- Experience in developing strong static test (partial and full-scale)
- Experience of finite element modelling and analysis process using PATRAN and NASTRAN (linear, non-linear, dynamic, etc.).
- Excellent ability to assess and validate the results of finite element models and to correlate them with test results.
Required Experience:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace or Civil and a minimum of 5 years experience in modelling and finite element structural analysis and the development of static test.
- Good computer skills (Word, Excel, CATIA V5) and an understanding of FAR / JAR 23 & 25 standards |
