Einleitung:
Our client requires a Team Leader - FEM Analysis to join their multinational team based in France.
Beschreibung:
Main Responsibilities:
Ensure the definition and construction of the global aircraft FE Model and lead the activities of the FEM team
Technical Competencies:
- Extensive experience in FE modelling and static analysis of fuselage, wing and other aircraft structure components in order to check the strength, stability and integrity.
- Strong knowledge in choosing element type, boundary conditions, and loading for global FE model.
- Experience in preparing FE document of global aircraft structure.
- Excellent in FE modelling rules and analysis processing using PATRAN & NASTRAN and its various solutions (linear, non-linear, dynamic, etc.)
- Familiarity to CATIA V4/5 (3D Model).
- Familiarity to FAR/JAR 23 & 25.
- Knowledge of sizing criteria
- Strong ability to evaluate and validate the FEM analysis results.
- Excellent PC computer skills (VBA, Excel and word).
Skills and Attitudes:
- Extensive experience in FEM modelling and structural analysis
- Capability of reviewing work to ensure technical accuracy and of helping junior engineer to solve problems and to find solutions.
- Good leadership skills
- Good communication skills and the ability to effectively work in a team environment is a must.
- Ability to work within Integrated Product Teams.
Education:
- Minimum B.S. in Mechanical, Civil, or Aerospace Engineering. Advanced engineering degree experience is desired.
- Proficiency in English is essential. Fluency in French is highly desirable. |
