Responsibilities and Activities:
- Generates functional design layouts from conceptual work carried out by the conceptual designer and ensures that further low risk detail design can be carried out
- preparation of design & vendor specifications
- Prepares proposals in response to customer RFP’s & RFQ’s
- Has up-to-date knowledge of relevant airworthiness regulations and their interpretations
- Carries out detail design trade-studies and makes conclusions and design integration
- Carries out checking of detail design and production drawings
Requirements & Qualifications
- Qualifications at BSc or MSc level in General Engineering or Aeronautical Engineer
- Extensive experience in the aerospace industry
- Experience of Airbus projects preferred
- Extensive experience of CATIA V5
- Knowledge of engineering concepts, practices and procedures within the aerospace industry
- Proactive teamplayer with a high standard of quality
- Good written and oral communication skills (English: mandatory, German: optional)
We will be hiring under the German AÜG law which means that candidates are hired on fixed term permanent contracts. We will be paying a monthly salary and all candidates will be fully registered in the German tax system
