Your tasks:

• Mechanical design of navigation and infotainment systems using CATIA V5
• Responsibility for whole development scope from new product development to supplier coordination
• Product support for prototype as well as serial production
• Coordination between European clients, suppliers and the development department of Japanese headquarters
• Support of internal departments, e.g. quality, procurement, sales
• Report to Supervisor Development

Your profile:

• Experienced design engineer with in depth knowledge in the automotive field
• Ideally at least 3 years design experience
• Degree in engineering, automotive or general engineering
• Experience in design and development, ideally with plastic, sheet metal or mechatronic parts
• Excellent CATIA V5 knowledge
• Experience with OEM specific CAD systems
• Excellent communications skills in a multicultural and interdisciplinary environment
• Very good English and at least basic German skills
• Self governed, systematic and thorough way of working
• Ability to work in team and flexibility
• Willingness to travel
